Are taxes going to rise to fund Social Security?

They are talking about removing the cap on payroll taxes. This would turn into a 13% tax increase on the self employed on income above 180k. On top of other taxes, it would basically take away 20% of my current post tax income, roughly speaking.
As a Shitlaw boss, I am reminded daily of how important SS is to America. I talk to multiple proles every day who have literally no income other than their monthly SS check. If it gets cut, it means real pain and it means political consequences. But JFC, is there some way to fix this other than just going after entrepreneurs? |

Corporate income tax rates should increase to fund SS imo but it won’t be enough to offset. But anyway it makes sense to do this if AI exists and leads to fewer jobs imo. |
