it's also important to understand that these people DO NOT see the 2003 iraq war as a failure. they see it as a stage within a larger war. syria is another stage; iran will be another. perhaps lebanon if the IDF gets tangled up in there again.
they also belong, for the most part, to the "money is fake bullshit numbers in computers" school of economics, which is why they feel no compunction about spending trillions on these grand projects. and to the extent that money is more than that, they are willing to gut domestic spending to keep their plans financed.
basically, they don't care about "america" per se; they mostly just want to use it like a cumrag, and they become very agitated and upset when their cumrag tries to protest its usage. |
