(We've sued them under CA's Automatic Renewal Law for automatically renewing "Fans'" subscriptions to "Creators" without disclosing that it'll be a recurring charge. Our kindly elderly judge determined that they're not subject to Jx in CA because they hadn't "specifically targeted" California consumers) |

By the time of judgment it's going to be 10 years of all auto-renewals in CA. It'll be well over $1B by then. Unfortunately our only claim is under the UCL so it'll be a judge deciding, and obv he'll think of some way to pare it down, like perhaps to only the first renewal, and then say, "the user should have reviewed his cc statement and known better."
