This only applies to those with insurance
“The San Jose Fire Department will charge $427 when it provides paramedic level medical services on those calls starting the first of the year. Now, those are emergency services involving, an IV, intubation, giving medication, that sort of thing. The fire department will bill your insurance directly. They tell us, if you're uninsured, you won't get a bill.”
