Seems like they are probably going to decrease in value for awhile.
I can't imagine how depressing it would be to lose hundreds of thousands or millions in a few months, with no end in sight, and no underlying fundamentals of the asset to make you confident they will go back up again. Its like losing money gambling, which is a terrible feeling.

Some of these people made a ton of money. $2k BTC, or even $5k, to $20k in less than a year is an incredible return.
Think of the people who bought BTC> $15k or ETH> $1k
These are the people who are suicidal.
