Think I am going to liquidate 2/3 of positions to avoid tether risk

1. fairly unlikely that the overall crypto market is going to 2x+ in the short term ) 2. decent risk of another crash like last week 3. not insignificant risk of a massive crash caused by a run on tether, which would wipe out a ton of value
given limited upside, i am thinking of sellcucking and waiting with cash on the sidelines for a bit |

Many people made so much $$$ (at least on paper) from BTC and ETH, making them comfortable throwing tons of money speculating on shitcoins (which they'd never do if they had to pay in fiat). If BTC and ETH tank massively, those profits fueling the shitcoin speculation vanish.
I personally think the Tether conspiracy theories are overblown, however. |
